My loan with homeq has completely drained the life right out me and my family. We had become two months behind. Which I know doesn't help, but my husband is a contractor and we had trouble collecting from clients. We had been in contact with Homeq and explained the situation and the seem to be understanding.
Well, I guess not because we then recieved our forclosure notice. We tried to resolve this problem by entering into a forebearance agreement, because at this point they wanted over 6500.00 in back mortgage, Legal FEEEEEEEEES. I think everytime I spoke to someone who couldnt help me it cost me 300.00. Anyway this was July 16,05. We were given til the 21st to send them 4500.00.
On the 20th we called and said that we only had 3000.00. The guy said ok. On the 25 someone else called us asking for more money and when I explained to her what the guy told me. She told me that on the 18th we didn't qualify for the forebarance agreement
Since that time we have lost a baby, our sanity, and our relationship at times is rocky. We have filed a BK and since then they have add appraisel fees, lawyers fees,
I Should start making up my own bills and sending them out. Ill call them "PUTTING UP WITH YOUR CRAP" fees. Because now I owe more than my original morgage. A broker friend of mind told me to talk to the company, they will work with you because they dont want your home. I believe he was wrong.
The more I read up on this company, the more I see that they are in the buisness of taking homes and ruining lives.
