I just refinanced with another company primarily to esacpe the rude, unprofessional treatment that I had been receiving from Homeq Servicing for the past 11 months that they have been servicing my mortgage. Yes, it was expensive to refinance twice within a 1-year period, but I consider it money well invested to be clear of Homeq Servicing.
Some exapmples of the outrageous treatment that I have received included having them call my home and place of business a half a dozen times per day. Also, my mortgage was due on the 1st of the month with a 15-day grace period. But that means nothing to Homeq. If they did not have the payment on the 1st, they were calling me beginning at 8 AM on the 2nd, asking me "what my problem is" in a very disgusted tone of voice.
Now that I am clear of Homeq, I intend to send a letter of complaint to Wachovia with a copy to Homeq informing them that their servicing company has just cost them a lot of money.
