First Premier Bank
Suspended account ripoff

I recieved my new First Premier Visa on 11/05
I recieved my first statement on 12/05. I think we all have heard about the fees this credit card company charges. So I started off with a balanced owed of about $148.54

I tried to make an over the phone check payment to pay off the balance. What I was not aware of is that you can't overpay. When I made my payment I was two cents over the balance and for security reasons First Premier suspended my account. TWO CENTS.

Customer service rep said it would be resolved in 3-5 days. That was a lie. It is now on day 21. The company damn well took the money, but will not allow me to have my card back until they can verify I am a authorized user on the bank account used to make the over the phone check transaction.

I don't understand. Maybe the fact that is confusing to me is if they were so concerned that I am not an authorized user on the checking account used to pay the credit card with. Why did they have no problems taking the money. So they took the payment and I will not have my credit card turned back on until my bank faxes over a statement that I am an authorized user. Thats Lame! And my bank refuses to do it because they feel its First Premiers job to contact them. Security at First Premier said they tried to verify with my bank my idenity but were on hold for too long so they just hung up. Nice!

I have spoken to customer service many times and First Premier lacks a lot in customer service. Not to mention they are not the brightest crayon in the box either. Most can't explain why they did this. One even said they suspected I was trying to rip them off. All I wanted to do was pay off my balance the first month and went two cents over my $300 limit. I am being punished for paying my credit card balance off.

Do not do business with this company! They are clueless and unprofessional. Their customer service workers lack brain power, which is reflected in their lack of customer service.
