I am a well-experienced mystery shopper with over 10 years experience. I primarily-though not exclusively mystery shop for those many companies who are members of the Sassie network of mystery shopping companies, in which Hilli Dunlap Enterprises is included. Most of my shopping assignments are as a result of receiving e-mails from the respective shopping company inviting me to apply for the particular assignment (s). I generally receive very high shopper grades for my assignments for the companies that I work for.
Prior to this experience, I had never worked any assignment for Hilli Dunlap Enterprises, nor had I received an invitation to do so! I received by e-mail in October, invitations by Hilli Dunlap to apply for two seperate mystery shopping assignments at a Chinese restaurant client location here in SE Pennsylvania; the restaurant chain apparently a client of Hilli Dunlap's that is based in California. I completed both shops properly, according to the shop specifications, and I timely completed well-written reports for both shops to the Hilli Dunlap, Sassie website.
I heard nothing back from Hilli Dunlap as to problems with my shops, so I presumed that they were both accepted and satisfactory. The first shop at the local restaurant was performed of 10/16 (nearly 3 months ago as of this writing); the second shop was completed on 11/06 (exactly 2 months ago).
With the passage of time, and my failure to receive payment from Hilli Dunlap for these completed shops or to otherwise hear from the company, I have grown quite concerned-particularly since I have discovered this website, and read the sad, unfortunate stories of these other odviously well-meaning people who mystery-shopped in good faith for this company and have clearly been ripped off by this fraudulent outfit as I apparently have been.
I am especially handicapped in attempting to collect from this outfit as I am trying to do so from Pennsylvania-3000 miles away-a fact that they odviously are mindful of! Presumably, they had no intention whatsoever of paying the unfortunate individual who would up taking their PA shops that I sadly did for them, believing that the distance between both coasts shielded them. However, I intend to contest this! I particularly would like to correspond with the other 3 shoppers who posted here as also being rip-off victims of this Hilli Dunlap outfit, and perhaps integrate and coordinate strategy! I have some ideas! Thank you!
