Golden West Savings Forclosed, Lost, Stole $10,000 from Escrow Account Ripoff

In August I was out of work, discovered boyfriend had drained bank account on line gambling, and I was out of money. I then contacted World Savings to explain my situation and that I had an escrow account that had been created due to an incorrect property tax re-assesment, and I had paid all taxes myself out of my checking account already. Due to the great difference in tax change from $600.00 @ year to $6,000.00 @ year, the escrow account now had over $6,000.00 with $500.00 being added each month for the escrow change my mortage also went up from $342.00 twice a month to $562.00 twice a month, I paid every other week. Since I was in a hardship situation I requested from World the release of monies in escrow as taxes were paid and I was in process of having the taxes returned to the original tax as the recording of the house was entered incorrectly resulting in the increase. I remember walking out of the tax building after 4 long months the tax had been reversed, however World Savings had sent $10,000.00 the lady showed me on her computer. It was Dec. 2 and the lady said she would pull the draft when it came through and re submit the $10,000.00 to World on my behalf for my now 4 months overdue mortage. This lady did a real nice big for me, she also called World Savings personally right in front of me and also sent a letter stating the change of tax and my refund.

I tried frome Dec2 - Dec 23 to locate this money and World was of no help until Dec. 23, David informed that World Savings had found the money however is was not mine and I was now in forclosure, Merry Christmas"! One year later I didn't loose my home oh so very close but I have doubled the amount due to preditory leanders, what a mess I am re-financing once again. I never recieved or saw any of that money in escrow, in March when I paid the forclosure I tried to get the payment reduced to match the new value and also back to 1 payment a month so I could manage, that would mean 1 payment at $342.00 instead of 2 payments at $560.00. World Savings would not adjust they said that the letter from the Tax office was not the big green tax generated bill statement that is sent throughout the year, I explained no one has it, it has not yet been created as all taxes were paid and current. World would not acknowledge, nor change payment or return the original $10,000.00 in the escrow account that now was at 0. It gets better they are demanding a seperate payment of 2 or 3 thousand dollors to bring the escrow account up to date, further more I had already paid homeowners insurance and World was billing me for that as well. I recieved a courtesy call from World informing me I was a week late, since I had also a line of credit I asked World what should I pay first as I only had enough money for one, she said not to worry about the first one the two times a month that I needed to pay the line of credit. I then recieved a phone call from the forclosure site as I had left a message when I saw my house on their site as still forclosed bank auction, I paid the forclosure 6-8 weeks pryor. The man at that point was going to find out why and get back to me, meanwhile I also was thinking of selling so I had a
Real Estate guy checking into things as well, so he tells me Denice its wierd I don't know whats going on but World Savings seem to be doing something is was vague. Well it clicked why World would not adjust nor return payment to once a month because to forclose one must be 3 payments behind which is 3 months right wrong at 2 payments a month forclosure would be in 6 weeks right, and that lady that called me said to pay the line of credit not to worry about the other since I was trying to get payment revised, SCUMBAGS! Anyway I have beeen through hell with those people the way they handle their calls one dept to the next, they don't have access to the same information escrow accounts don't show up on the mortage reps. Screen so they keep transferring you back and forth at the end of 45 - 90 mins. Nothing is settled as they always want something faxed that has already been faxed numerous times. The only coo-operation I recieved from World was at the end when they were paid off, I contacted World and asked to speak to someone that was "IN CHARGE OF PUBLIC RELATIONS AND ACCOUNTABLE!" I then laid into this A - Hole the reality and requested he take a quick look at my file history I would hold as to this would be the final and last request to get my house off the forclosure list and to record the letter of reconveyance at once or I was going to make it my HOBBY to F_K them as I was currently unemployed enableing me the time to do it. Well that was notorized in Texas and filed in Santa Clara County in 1 week! I am responding to the lady who is currently having trouble as she is requesting information from anyone and everyone who has had problems it said to submit in the rebuttal box in which I did however it was requested at that point I should make a report so here it is. I have records, accounting, tax 1099's all are inconsistant and conflicting in numbers, values, escrow account created on first loan then transferd to second to throw things off sneaky sneaky sneaky stuff! I will help you nail them to the cross they owe me big time! I know we can! There is no way in the world any Judge can dissmiss or justify stealing from me over $14,000.00, causing me to forclose costing me approx. $150,000.00 as I had to pay big time to the hard lenders to bail me out!

Happy holidays!
