I was so excited to come from home from college today; to see that I had won $427,146.20!!!
However, that was not the case, the whole thing was a scam!!!
After I had done a little screaming and jumping up and down (my kids were yelling... We're rich, we're rich!!!), I calmed down enough to read all the fine print-
That's when I REALLY read the letter and "official" statement.
When I saw that they wanted a cheque for $21.95 (plus an additional $2.00 for rush processing), I raised an eyebrow at the validity of the letter.
It is done VERY PROFESSIONAL, looking and sounding, but if you actually read the fine print (on the back-of course, and in light coloring), it gets very confusing and doesn't make a lot of sense.
I looked up the name of the company and the internet automatically directed my here, to the consumer complaints.
That alone should tell you something.
Please don't get ripped off by this company—
I am a single mom and a college student, I cannot afford to be ripped off. And I'm sure nobody else wants to be ripped off either.
