These guys also sent me a collection letter, for the small amount of $44.10. When I called the number, they said it was from an old AT&T phone bill from 2 years ago, passed down from another collection company named Palisades Collection.
They had my old address, phone number, and last four digits of my social. When I said I wanted proof or I wouldn't pay, the lady "Ms. Williams" became very rude, threatened to send me to collections, and hung up on me.
I have since sent a "Cease and Desist" letter telling them I would report them to the FTC, Attorney General, and the BBB if the fraudulent collection calls/letters continue.
