I got a letter saying i got approved on a card for a catalog... 6500 wow I thought I went through the whole process not knowing this was a scam. When It got to the end and he already had my bank info he asked if it was okay to debit 199.99 from my bank account. I thougth this was a non secure card...
So I questioned firther and found out it was a merchant card not a credit card and told them when they asked if I authorized the membership fee I told them bluntly NO I do not whant this card never mind just cancel it. He asked me again and I told them same NO I don't give u permission to debit my bank. I got angry and yelled at my phone... I dont want this card I dont authorize you to debit my account and I want nothing to do with you and I hung up.
Well I then got a debit to my account for 199.99 at first I didn't know what the CCS800-731-0121 PREAUTHPMT on my online statement was then I remembered this conversation i did a web search for CSS and now im here...
Hope someone don't get taken in by these guys im just glad I found out about it the day they debited my account I am hoping I can persue this and stop them from doing this to any other persons. Especally young gullible people like myself that don't know better.
