*STOP* Do not buy anything finaced by this company. I purchased a car in Virginia 4 years ago. It was a 4 year loan my payment amt was to be 255.00 per month a year after I had the loan my payment went up to 287.00 I called and asked why they said because they had no record of me having insurance on the car so they added there own without even notifying me of the situation I told them this was obsured I had insurance so I faxed my insurance papers to them. One person told me I was credited back the money so I thought nothing of it.
After several months I get a letter saying that I did not make my full payment I said yes I did but they said it was short once again they had been charging me for this insurance thing and once again I had to fax the proof to them. 4 years later I am still fighting with them because not only have I been paying 30 some extra for there insurance I also am paying for my policy I have had all along. Then they said they didn't get a payment from me in 2003 I fax them a copy of the check they cashed, and still they say I owe them.
Now it is October in August I sent my final coupon payment to them and I get a letter back saying I amd in default of my loan in the amt of $ 942.00 I was furious. I also checked my credit report and it said I still owed 2100.00. When I called to find out why no one could give me the answers. They kept passing me back and forth. Now I received a letter from the insurance dept saying that they do not accept my insurance because the deductable is too high and they are adding there own insurance and charging me.
Once again I try calling but no one calls me back or they dont know what to say but every other day I receive threatening letters they are going to take my car. How can this be when I sent my last coupon in that said final payment in August I should have my title and they keep sending me threatening letters. If anyone can help me battle these people I would greatly appreciate it. They are ripping the people off and more of us need to step up and complain so it stops.
