I am a former employee of Ameriquest and I can understand where you all are coming from! I have seen first hand how the "Portfolio Retention" department uses illegal tactics and lies to keep customers in bad loans and strip them of their equity!!! You have no idea how much they keep tabs on you like "big brother, " watching every inquiry on your credit report and then relentlessly hounding you day after day until one of them lies to you to keep you with the company! This isn't about helping customers, this is about the company making money, at any cost! Not one person who has done a loan with AMC could have gotten the best deal from them! Every employee at AMC knows that their customers could do much better with any broker on the block, but they are trained to aggressively mislead to make the company more money, and what is sad is that they don't even realize they are being ripped off themselves in the form of low commissions!
