I accepted a loan signing assignment on June 14 from Lisa (Elizabeth) Schreiber, doing business as Signature One in Tucson, AZ. We agreed on an amount of $75 for printing of the loan documents, traveling to the borrowers home and completing the signing of all documents and shipping them.
A check from Signature One was sent for the $75 however it came back to me stamped "Account Closed." Attempts to contact Ms. Schreiber have met with negative results.in addition my bank charged me $6 for processing the bad check.
Ms. Schreiber has used other business names, i.E., Notary America and Southwest Notary, both in Tucson.
There are other consumer complaints under "Notary America" and "Lisa Schreiber" you may with the check out
