Back in March I wanted to look at my credit report. I had used one of the links provided by a google search. It all went well... I was told a credit card was needed to verify my identity. I provided the CC of course and received my free credit report. I had thought that was the end of it.
Four month later I looked at my statements... And I noticed I was getting charges of 29.95 from AP9*PRIVACYMATTERs. I had called them and asked them to cancel my account, and refund my money. Their response was they could only do it for one month. I had asked to verify activity on my login... Same response.
I think paying 150.00 for a "free credit report" is a rip off... And I hope someone goes after these type of websites. If anyone wants to legally go after them... Feel free to contact me.
