A man who called himself Sean called one morning when I was on my way to work. I was in a hurry so I wasn't Paying enough attention. He told me that I would be getting $200 in vouchers good at Wal-mart or a list of other department stores. And the reason was that my telephone number had been selected by premier benefits for shopping at Wal-mart. I thought it sounded allright because I had applied for the Wal-mart credit card, and bought several things at the website. He kept asking if I understood what he was saying.
He asked for my routing number and my account number. I didn't have the routing number, so he said that he had it for my bank I just had to read it back to his supervisor when she got on the line. He also said they would only charge $3.95 shipping and handling, did I understand? I kept saying yes. And if I canceled within seven days nothing would be charged to my account. I would also get a packet for free movies, and free dinners at popular restaurants. I got a packet with the coupons for movie tickets. But when I call the number or try to get on the website I cant get through. They haven't charged anything to my account yet, and I got the call on Thursday May 19th its now the 30th.
I did ask him if there was a confirmation number or a number that I could call back at if there were any problems. He gave me his name and Employment Code, Sean employment code 10791. He also gave me a different number to call which was 1-800-357-8873. These guys seem to be a rip off and everyone needs to be really careful who they give their bank info, and even their name, number, or e-mail address. I know I will be more creful from now on.
