I just got a call today 4/09/05 @ 8:45 AM or somewhere around by some guy that had an accent and talked really fast! He told me about my FingerHut account, that was WAYYYY past due, and that I needed to pay in FULL by a check by phone... And I kept listening and fell for it!
His name is Marlon I didn't trust too much and he said that the call was being recorded, etc, and that he could put me on with his manager then I got transfered to another person... A woman named Mariem... And she told me that if I could'nt pay the amount in full that we could work something out... So we agreen on $30.00 a month... I owe FingerHut $467.11... I told her that I could pay by money-order, and she told me that at least the first payment had to be done by check-by-phone, so I fell for it and gave her my bank account# and rounting #!!!
Now that I checked the internet here on this company I feel REALLY STUPID! I called my bank and told them about this! The woman I spoke to also told me that she got a letter from these bungholes!
Moral of this story... DON'T TRUST No-ONE!
