Ripoff promise large loan if I wired 2000 to canada don't do this ripoff

Monique Welding called me at work saying I was approved for an 80,000. Dollar loan at 5%. Since I have bad credit this was going to come from a private investor. All I needed to do was wire 2,000. And fax her a copy of my DL, SS # and paystub.

The 2,000 was for credit insurance that I would recieve back in 6 months if I paid my loan on time.

Red flags went off and I checked this web-site (usacomplaints.com) for any info.

The BBB of Michigan has nothing on this company and I am going to call them and let them know.

I did not send the money as I don't have it and I reported them to the FTC. I was told by the FTC that it is against the law for telemarketers to take money upfront for loans.

There is information about fraudulant credit card scams but I did not find anything on this type of scam.

BE CAREFUL!!! If you are financially struggling as I am DO NOT BE FOOLED. The old saying that if it sounds to good to be true... Is correct.
