I used to work for Tax Ready and all the reports I have read so far are precise. I really feel for all of you... Wish there was something I personally could of done.
I think, and am hoping for all of your sakes... With the intervention from the Federal Trade Commission and the Nevada State Attorney General's office, the refunds should be coming at a faster rate.
They do have a wonderful program, if only it was implemented correctly.in addition, the Customer Service Department was just that... To Service the Customer. This unfortunately did not happen there. It appears this will be happening in the future though.
Selling a client a "home based business" without actually looking at your tax situation is something that always bothered me. Selling the program to people, who did not need it to begin with, was something that made me feel really bad. I finally could not work there anymore. I gave my notice to quit. Before my time was up, I was fired. Why??? Because I had given a client some information to contact the Attorney General in order to get his refund back. I was fired for "Gross Misconduct"
Now, I really cannot blame them for my dismissal... I did give out "insider information. Nevertheless, I feel I was acting on the best interest of the client... And I do not regret my actions.
I did have a good repoir with the clients who called me. I always did the best job possible to find deductions they did not previously use, or were aware of. I hope that in the future TAX READY will indeed have the review of the Tax Return in hand before advising the clients.
