A little over a year ago, I got a credit card offer in the mail from First Liberty Financial. I read the fine print, but failed to see the line about this being a restricted card for use with their internet site or catalogs. At the time, I didn't have a computer, and needed to get a new credit card to try and improve my credit, so I sent in the money. My family lives paycheck to paycheck, and $49 is a lot of money to us. I was told to write them a letter, and they would reimburse me, I never heard from them again. Don't EVER send in any money for a credit card! Unless it is a completey secured card (one that works with your account-like a debit type credit card) it is most definately a rip-off.
