From my own experience as a pnc customer
i could say that online banking system isn't very secure. One of my suggestions would be for instance to send each customer a card with let say numerated 20 7 digit different numbers on it. Each time he wants to login online third layer of protection would be to as
for randomly selected number from a card. You should really improve login system so it would be more secure.
