We had recieved a call to sign up for a Platinum Benefit card. The processing/membership fee was 89.95 with a monthly service charge of 14.95. If you recieve a call from them DO NOT sign up! It is a scam. The membership fee is non-refundable if you choose to cancel the account.
After signing up for this account something told me to check here and see if there were any previous reports made... Well... There was. First thing I did was call their customer service number and it was not a working number (877-344-4835). I happen to finally get ahold of a number to call (877-705-3908).
Well to make a long story short, the only way to get out of losing my money to this scam was to close our checking account before they were able to charge the membership fee. Thanks Rip-Report and its members for saving me $89.95 and alot of heartache.
