SVM Card / SVM Reward Card and/or Visa would not honor prepaid balance on card, would not correct a problem with their card, and consequently siphoned the balance from the card via their fees as experienced from their customer service and lack of resolve. After a SVM / VISA gift card had expired and was not working at retailers I attempted to work with SVM Card / VISA customer service to remedy the problem. For almost a year and numerous calls to SVM Reward Cards / VISA and conversations with supervisors at each, the policy experienced was to avoid correcting the problem until the automated fees the card charges depleted the balance. Multiple times I spoke to various personnel at SVM Reward Card / VISA that simply would not call back and/or try to fix the dilemma, and thus lengthening the process for a year until the card was depleted. It appears to be quite an arrangement where the SVM Reward Card / VISA card is rendered unusable, the service team / policy experienced will not correct the problem and in the end VISA doesn't have to pay out the reward. Some benefit. Next stop will be to the retailers that contract SVM Cards / VISA for these types of programs so they can be better informed about the service provided with this group.
