A couple of months back I made a purchase at a merchant for 16 bucks and some change. I was upset because I was overcharged but didnt notice it until a couple of days later, ok fine. About two or three weeks go past and I deposit my pay check into my chase account the very next day chase removes that 16 bucks and some change charge from its weeks old position (it literally disapeared) and moves it up above the new deposit and then deducted it again. So I called chase to dispute this charge and to see what excuse they had. The CSR asked me if I had been to the merchant at all and I say yes so she proceeds to suggest that I actually made the charge not knowing my car was in the shop and this particular store is miles away from my home. After explaing that there was no way she was going to convince me that I made that charge and allowed myself to be overcharged a second time she then went on to maybe someone has my card number and she would cancel that card and issue a new one. Last time I checked you cant walk in somewhere with a card number wrote down a piece of paper and say here chare it to this! So she does just that and now I cant get to work this day no card, no car, no access to my money. This I know was a wamu practice they also did that to me altering the placement of charges. Every time I look at my account online now I take A picture of it and guess what they just did it again! Time for chase to pay the piper.
