Compass bank has lied from the start when I opened my account. But this really got me. I pulled out a lump of money from an ATM and left enough in the account to us for gas, etc. My last debit card use was for gas, $15.00. I thought this would bring me down to (o) in my account but I forgot the $2.00 fee for using the ATM. Because of this I was $2.02 over draft. I received an overdraft notice, no big deal I'll just put money in to cover the overdraft.
About 3 days later I got a notice on a card that looked like a promotion card rather than a normal business envelope. I opened it to find that my account is being charged $6.00 per day for 30 days or until the overdraft is deposited. From being $2.02 overdraft I am now $103.00 overdraft and still being charged. I figure by the time they get done raping me I'll owe $180.00 in overdraft charges. Calls to the branch, corporate, customer service has not moved them to do anything at all about this problem. I guess there going to have to sing for this one.
