On Feb 7th, I made a deposit to the Suntrust bank in Gainesville, GA. It was a Canadian funds check of a sizeable amount.
I asked the local "Asst VP" how long it should take, and what was the "exchnage rate" - he could advise neither, but "guessed" at ten business days.in haste of travelling on a flight the next morning, I took the chance.
Here it is 18 business days later and only TODAY, did the bank in Canada receive the request from Suntrust. The Canadian bank has told me that the request format was something they'd NEVER seen before but would work on it today.in respondiong back to Ignacio the "asst VP" he seemed unphased by this and offered to "loan" me an over draft etc should I need it.
I then asked for his superior a Martha Cunningham - the "admin" in Alpharetta. No call back from Martha as promised... Tomorrow, I escalate this futher with their corporate office... Im close to the HQ and very VERY pissed off.
I MAY FIRE Suntrust over this - a twenty year relationship, mortgages etc - all have REALLY angered me in this unprofessional broken system.
