I got a call from Premium Advantage in October and the lady there told me that she would be able to help me consolidate my debit with this credit I would receive of 3000 dollars. She told me that I would need to pay them 299.95 so that if I maxed out the card they were sure that I could cover the minnimum balance.
I said fine. I was so excited that I was going to be caught up on bills. The man came on to ask me if I agreed to the terms and he talked a mile a minute. I didn't realize what he was saying wasn't the same thing the woman had just told me.
When I hadn't received a credit card I called the company number that I got off of the electronic check and asked where my credit card was. The man informed me that they didn't give out credit cards and that I paid 300 dollars for a "benefit package" that included a a free cell phone, medical package, and other junk. He gave me the address to write in for a refund.
A week later I was charged 19.95 for a service I was supposed to cancel within 15 days. However, I never received a package that let me know how to do that. So I called again. They told me that I would have to send in another letter. So I did.
I have contacted them several times and they have denied my request for a refund. I have contacted the Better Business Bureau and they said that there has been several complaints but no responses. I wish I would have known that this company was a scam because I have now lost over 300 dollars and my debit has gotten worse because of this company.
