My brother in law ordered gift cards for our family from AE and for them to arrive before Christmas-strike 1-they didn't We called to confirm the amount on the 4 gift cards $500 each-Christmas Miracle!
The kids went to put their portion towards a much awaited vacation instead of clothes that they could have used. Strike 2: Card declined!
Ok, we thought maybe it was because it was for a vacation-let's try it in the store:
Strike 3: declined!
Called customer service to find out... Strike 4 the gift cards were "accidentally sent to us" from someone else (not the ones sent from my brother in law)-but came from the UTAH AE office to us-our address/our name!
And... They have no idea where the ones that were suppose to come to us are but... The ones you have are not yours so... Merry Not Christmas! And the customer service "supervisor" kept saying "ma'am I'm going to keep repeating this statement until you understand "the person who sent them canceled them"-ok... But that was not my question (as I repeated). My question was... Where are our cards and if you (AE) sent them to us... Then you should make this right... Am I wrong here? My kids got gift cards-and then had AE tell them... Nope, sorry-none for you!
