I am a medically disable veteran who has lost hearing in his left ear. After coming home from the desert I found a job doing surveillance work. Long end of it the casino industry has taken a dive due to the economy. Having lost my job there I moved on to oil feild work, with no experiance I started at the bottom. Which begn my problems. I have a home loan through GMAC mortgage for a little over seven years. Having never been late, always paying a little extra when i can, I have been a faith pay your debt on time person. Losing my job with the casino made a serious income deficensey. So being unable to pay my mortage in full, I contacted GMAC mortgage six months in advance to this problem, knowing I would run out of savings to pay them. Trying to sell the house has not worked house bought for 121k owe 118k due to refinace due to an adustable rate mortgage now a fixed rate. GMAC mortage now calling everyday to collect the month I am behind going to be two soon. Filled out paper work for goverment assistance, gmac says cant help you refill out paper work, have done this several times. Called them and get the run around on who to talk to, after spending 2 1/2 hours on the phone either waiting or getting told I cant help you, I hang up. Do not do buisness with this company, if you have a loan with them get out now. Go to a none jp morgan backed company.
