I just purchased the unlimited tanning membership at SunTanCity in Goodlettsville, TN after 2 months with their VersaSpa package. I never got an even tan - it was different every time! So, it seemed the next logical step to try a tanning bed. My first visit was on a Monday evening. The store wasn't busy. After checking in, the girl told me to go to Bed 7. I've never seen their beds before, so I asked if it would be obvious how to use it, and she said Yes. I walk into Room 7, and I see a tanning bed that is all taped up, and with an obvious broken hinge. I stood there for a few minutes thinking You have got to be kidding me... But then I decided for the 5 minutes I was tanning, what the heck - go for it. No one told me the bed turns itself on if you're not fast enough, so I wound up tanning for 3:41. And I haven't seen a bed without face tanners since the 80's. Is all the equipment at all locations in this condition? Wouldn't you think that you'd get something more on your first visit?
