Purchased a spa from Wind River Spas; they promised one free move. Called a week ago to schedule, proceeded to take time off work to accommodate their 9-12 time frame. Was called on 9/11 to see if they could re-schedule; they were overbooked. I told them it would be inconvenient because I had taken time off work. Called them today to confirm and get a more specific time since I was paying an electrician and didn't want him sitting around while I paid him for no work. They said it would be closer to 12 -12:30 because they had a 10 install. I asked why they told me 9 -12 if they had no intention of being their at 9. They said 'well, we're doing this for free' no, I paid for the service; 'we're trying to accommodate' no, not really if they were they would have told me 11-2. I asked if it would be easier if I said I'd be here between 11:30-2, they replied 'well, we might be done at 11'... I asked if it would be easier if I just told them to forget about it and you can keep the $ I paid 'that's up to you ma'm'. So that's what I did... Not worth the hassle. I hired a contractor who gave me a specific time. Unfortunately, now I will have paid TWICE to move the hot tub. Never, ever, ever buy from Wind River Spas.
