I had been going here for years getting my hair cut. I followed them after they left another salon in Skokie. Boris was always cool. Past several months he really changed his attitude. He doesn't say a peep while in the shop, does not that you for your patronage and just basically treats you like garbage. Oh and he hates Americans, he told me so! He now requires you to pre-pay for your hair cut and the price has gone thru the roof! Used to be $7 for a men's haircut (i would always give $10 w/tip). A friend told me he went up to $12 and when i went in a week after him (i go every 2 weeks), it was suddenly $16!!! Are you kidding me Boris? He told me to pay or go somewhere else. And yes, i could do that. I told him there a several other places i could go to and all of my friends and co-workers that i refered them to Boris and Lily's would no longer be gojng there. We don't need to be treated like this. He doesn't seem to understand he needs us, we don't need him. I could go on and on with the stuff he's said that really had pissed me off. Forget him. I'm never going back. His wife Lily is a doll though, too bad he's there. Would be great if he stayed home. Just STAY AWAY unless you like being taken advantage of.
