Don't shop at whitehall jewelers no real matter what. I bought a Whitestar band from Whitehall. A couple of months later I improved to some 3 rock Whitestar band in the King Of Prussia Whitehall shop within the summer of 2006. Whitestar diamonds are their niche diamonds and therefore are said to be exemplary. I settled over $6,000 bucks for that band. The retail label onto it mentioned that it had been worth over $9,200. The jeweler explained exactly the same. Annually later I visited have it estimated for insurance reasons in the Whitehall in Tyson's Part Northern Virginia. Once the evaluation returned with differences within the shade, quality, and dimension of the band versus exactly what the Authorized Stone accreditation mentioned in the jeweler it mentioned that my wifes band which currently had so much emotional importance was worth ONLY $5,400. Undesirable. Then they delivered it back out to a different Whitehall connected jeweler to obtain it evaluated again. They stated the mans resources should have been off. THE 2ND evaluation returned with differences within the shade, quality, and dimension of the band versus exactly what the Authorized Stone accreditation mentioned again. BUT this time around the worthiness of the band was precisely $9,200. Thats precisely what I'd mentioned towards the supervisor it ought to be worth. Do not diamonds increase in cost often? We I requested to consult with somebody higher they brought me towards the area supervisor. I subsequently went into the Tyson's corner-store to capture him while he was there. Since I have didn't purchase it there he couldn't approve that. He attempted to repair the issue by placing the band in jewelry since I'd mentioned my rage the white-gold had made orange. This did not repair the truth that the band wasn't worth what I had been informed and sometimes even bought it for. Per month later I went as much as Master Of Prussia, pennsylvania and attempted to come back it there. The supervisor their said that she was fresh and it has been clearing up "interferes" since she began. Not really a great indication. She mentioned that she'd look after it and that I might have a reimbursement from the end-of your day so long as the Tyson's corner-store delivered them the band. 2 nights later I went in to the Tyson's corner-store to confirm the return and that I was informed they never delivered it since the area supervisors stated it might not be returned. I named and submitted another criticism but still no term. After I requested the Tyson's part DM who had been greater than him that I really could visit he explained that there is nobody greater except the leader who'd simply move it back again to him. WHAT!!! I looked the organization site and discovered the title of the corporate individual. After I required him I acquired redirected to another person. I talked with him for some months to resolve issues. We ultimately found an answer, about a few months following the evaluation was delivered to get a partial reimbursement and my previous band back occur a Jewelry environment in the place of White-Gold. I reported towards the BBB plus they replied having a bargain like the one I found using the prior man but nonetheless not what we'd completely decided on (No jewelry environment) I am talking about it had been minimal they might do. At this time I needed a complete reimbursement also it was informed it might not occur. I subsequently got it to a different Jeweler NOT related to Whitehall and first got it estimated. ADDITIONALLY THEY stated it had been worth $5,400 aswell, because of some defects within the stone.
Therefore it was established that I had been offered a band in a greater cost than what it had been value and that I still haven't been returned. They're ignoring the truth that this is my wifes gemstone that's today in most our wedding pictures and had plenty of emotional value to it. This isn't something which they are able to simply repair. It's today 8 weeks following the first evaluation and that I have noticed nothing more from their store following the BBB criticism and that I am caught having a band that's less useful than what I taken care of it and what I had been informed it had been well worth.
