I went into the Sephora at Memorial City Mall in Houston, TX for an express eye makeup service on a Friday when they definitely weren't busy. Right away I didn't feel welcomed. Nobody greeted me and when I asked one of the girls who I can speak to about an express service, she directed me to the rudest sales person I've ever met. I approached the woman with a very kind demeanor and said "hi how are you?" very politely. She just looked at me with a stuck up attitude and didn't say anything. So I continued by asking her of the express eye service. She began to speak to be in a negative and condescending tone trying to tell me sephora doesn't even do those at all. I told her it states it on the website clearly that it is part of their services and she continued to disagree and tried to talk over me. I told her I had it done at the galleria once and she said it was probably when they weren't even busy and during the day time. I told her they were extemely busy as it was during the holiday season and it was late in the evening after I had gotten off work. She just continued to tell me that I was wrong and treating me as if I don't know anything. She then told me to speak to a manager if I don't believe her so I did. The manager told me I would be next for a service. I waited 20 minutes and when my turn came the makeup artist said she suddenly can't do it. The manager had no clue that there were any appointments and as a manager, you should be aware of that sort of thing. The 1st lady who I spoke to that was very rude and stuck up was older, had very messy makeup of her own, and had brownish blonde hair but it was highlighted and up in a pony tail. I go to this sephora all the time and purchase a lot of cosmetics as I am a freelance makeup artist for a salon. That day I was coming from work and had to get to a wedding immediately so I figured it would be faster if I just got it done and left from there rather than going all the way home 40 minutes away from the venue then getting ready. I ended up arriving to the wedding late because they wasted so much of my time and I had to go all the way back home. I will never ever step foot inside this sephora again as it was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I will make sure none of my friends go here either. Sephora at Memorial City Houston TX is the worst sephora ever.
