I've tried to cancel my membership for months. I've called and left messages. I disputed the charges to Amex. I've talked to a manager. They just got the charges reinstated after submitting my "contract" that says... Get this... I have to personally appear at a salon to cancel. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I've done everything humanly possible to cancel a service I haven't used in close to a year and they REINSTATE charges due to this clause? It's stealing... Theft of my funds... Fraudulently burying a clause in an agreement that has caused me grief and now I have to go out of my way to an totally inconvenient location to cancel? This must be an attempt to "hold" or "freeze" or "lower" my obligations prior to cancelling. I hear so much about their "upselling" how can this not be similar??? Just let your clients cancel if they want to!!!
