I am very interested to share our recent trip to your medical center to get help with our sick cat. We did not know too much about SPCA medical center as a whole. After talking with our friends and continue searching about and of SPCA operations it's appear that the above mission statements are not really comes from people cares about the ANIMALS. To us it is a joke and something written just because. I hope after reading our sad stories you will be agree with me with all of it. On January 3, our cat was taken to your medical center for a fair treatment. Our cat was in 75% of healthy situation per our observation. On that date, our cat treated with some necessary procedures such as exam, medicine, professional services and so on. At the beginning of the procedure we told the MVD on duty about our due to unexpected circumstances. Let’s go make it simple, so much expenses and not enough income. It is a shameful for a Civil Engineer who has more than 26 years of experience and not to find a job since 2009 due to lay-off. Having said that, we took home our cat and started to stuff the medicines into her throats at the same day, were not easy even though we using pill popper that cost us another additional fee with a cheap quality that probably it was worth a $0.50 value. Still we are wondering why the medical technician did not bother to give her the first pill to help her sooner and it was a good idea for demonstration.
On January 5, our cat (Tanoor) health got so worse and at this time she could not stay on her feet and keep her head up. It was very scaring for us; we took her to your medical center as emergency case. We are thankful for your staff efforts to take her to ER for treatment. All showed up, after initial exam, we were told that they need to do emergency treatments on her. The sad story was that we were told in order to do the procedure we need to pay a $350-400. What‘s SPCA means at this stage? What will happen to all donations? How much donation needed to save one of donator pet as in past many years we one of them per say “donators”. Even though we had had hard time, we did not mind to pay to help save an animal as much our heart was crying for a good cause. We were not assured that after the emergency will help our cat and our comfort. After a short meeting with your MVD then we had no hope to put her on sleep. On the way leave SPCA facility center, then we were told we need to pay amount of $59.00. It was surprising that we did not get for breathing over there. Was it MVD’s fault not sure, probably she has done whatever the policy is enforced to what to do and not what to do, not sure. Is the SPCA procedure as it is? Take it or leave it? No one knows. The question is what will happen if someone has no enough income to taking care of daily living expenses and at the same time to love his/her pets. Our income has risen, but morality, declined. Oh well, no one can make our car back to this world for us to keep loving her just because of Knowledge is getting more and more, but judgment becomes worse and worse. We have more professionals, but there are more and more problems. Medicine has improved greatly, but health is becoming worse and worse. EI hope I could send my message how do or did we feel about SPCA as whole, you might not be agree with me In that case, please believe me "Wait till one day" you will never have any opportunity to do so. At the end should I say it is better to change SPCA to SDCP (society does not care for pets)?
