We have a 6 months old pip bull at the time he was 5 1/2 years old. We put signs up, went on craigs list and face book looking for our little fellow. This was on january 31. Called spca and even went down on that tuesday they said they didn't have the puppy. We continue to call and show up at the spca. Finally on that thursday the puppy was there. We was charged a kennel fee starting on monday 7:55 pm even though they told us the puppy was not there. When we was taken through the kennel tank was not any where to be found. The puppy was found a 30 mintue drive on the other side of town when he was picked up. Someone took the puppy as there is no way he could of gotten that far without being hurt. The day we took our puppy home he was very lifeless and didn't act like a normal puppy. We though it was just because he was away from our home. When he didn't improve, he wouldn't eat or drink water. Took tank to the vet the puppy ended up staying at the vet as he had pravo a very dangerous and deadly disease which he didn't have before he was in the spca. It cost $98.00 to get him out of the spca. Now it cose $512.00 to get tank medical attention. Finally we was able to bring him home also he had kennel cough which couldn't be treated until the provo treatment was completed. Tank was getting no better so back to the vet we went. Now he has pnomai and more medication was given. So now we are up to about $800.00 and tank is still not finish. We also have to go to court for a second time as spca gave us tickets. The first court date we proved that two of the three tickets should be dismissed. We plead not guilty due to the puppy being a pit bull the judge was very bias against that bread of dog. We go back to court on march 01 with an attorney which so far has cost $400.00. The condition of the spca was terrible and the poor animals was in very dirty conditions. One of spca employee asked us if we were going to fight tank because he was a pit bull. Be aware of spca they will lie, cheat and even take your dog when they say they don't have it. Please be aware of the spca they are the worse place to take a dog or even give a dog to. They don't keep them very long and your animal will end up being put down.
