I requested the service of dog grooming. Jandane Kennels did an inferior job of providing this service to the point I felt it should be reported so people do not use her.
I called Jandane to schedule a grooming appointment for my dog. I was explicit with Ms. Gibson that my dog was 13 years old and fragile, that I needed her shaved down and bathed. I dropped my dog off to be groomed. After leaving I received a call from Ms. Gibson about an hour later, she stated that the dog would be ready at 2:00. She also asked if my husband could come because she wanted him to hold her down while she trimmed her last paw. I picked up my dog at 2:00. What I saw was horrifying. If I had seen her first I would have refused to pay Ms. Gibson. She stated to me that she could not get the dogs last paw nails cut. It was too difficult and "quit frankly I didn't want to deal with it anymore." When she retrieved the dog the dog looked like a mess. She was not shaved evenly, she had nick marks along her back where Ms. Gibson had shaved too close to the skin. Her ear hair were left untrimmed and stragley. Her legs were not shaved at all. Ms. Gibson claims she washed the dog but the dog still smelled like a dog needing a bath. I expressed Gibson's work and requested half of my money back. Her curt response to me was, "take it up with the Better Business Bureau." The service I requested and was supposed to be provided is not what I got and sadly, paid for. Ms. Gibson did no better a job than my four year could have done if given a pair of clippers. I am extremely disappointed in her work and the horrible experience my dog had at Ms. Gibson's hands. Do not use this business!!!
