I got my kitten to Banfield since he ceased eating and was really tired. The vet examined his temperature and did a visual examination. She couldn't tell me that which was wrong with him but continued to go over all of the awful, final issues it may be. It was before my eleven-year old child. Following the vet had people equally in holes, she mentioned bloodwork must be completed in the additonal expense of $250 (the charge had been as much as $185). Although I really like my kitten, I simply didn't have that type of cash. After asking the vet more, I then found out the instant therapy will be the same whether the kitten had an incurable illness or perhaps a basic stomach ache. I tearfully made a decision to spread the bloodwork and expect the very best. Our kitten was good after three times of required feedings and antibiotics. I look-back and recognize the vet was simply looking to get the additional costs from me - without any respect for my or my child's emotions. Just a terrible experience! I will never return.
