Well where to start is the big question" I started out last Thur by calling Direct Tv the CSR taking my order spoke poor english after 30 min. Of explaining repeatdly that I wanted the basic $29.99 package for 3 rooms we concluded the order w / the instalation to be done the very next day. Well the next day came & I kept getting calls all day that the guy was on his way we waited all day finally having to leave I called Direct tv and they had him call me back the guy was nasty and straight up lied by telling me he was waiting for 45 min. While in fact we were only gone for about 15 min. At this point I was flipping out and called Direct Tv to cancel the order all together B/c I could not believe a big company like this would have contracted someone like this to even go into people's homes. Well after that call I was assured that I would be compensated? Still not sure what they meant by that and that they would someone out to me 1st thing monday morn. Well 7:50 am the guy was there unfortunatly I had to get my kids to school so my fiance was there so he calls me 10 min later while I was on the rd to tell me that the guy only brought one receiver and can only hook up one TV of course right away I called Direct TV and they started to actually argue with me that I only ordered for one tv installation finally telling me to stop the installer so I get off the phone and call my honey to stop him but by that time it was to late the guy was done all though the installer insisted that direct tv would correct it. Well that was bullshit b/c when I called them back to explain that they made a mistake and to correct it they 1st pretty much told me no then I demanded a supervisor who offered to correct it at a low cost of 129.99 for the 2 additional receivers after that I went postal then he offered to waive the fee but would have to charge me an additional 12.99 a month for the 2 extra rooms. Ohh one more thing they did get me for $19.99
So to conclude my long ass complaint I canceled right away and Im waiting for the box as I type and Im going with local cable Thank god for local cable!!!
