OPTICAL: I ordered glasses through Shopko Optical two months ago. I have taken them back twice because I can't focus on the computer with them. There is at least a two week turnaround with the lab, so they can chew up that 90 day guarantee in a hurry. I'm still waiting for the glasses to come back from the second return!
PHARMACY: They now will not let you refill or get prescriptions sooner than they deem necessary. My doctor's office called in a prescription on a Thursday, when I went to pick it up on the next Monday, I was told that it wasn't ready yet because Thursday was too soon to fill it. What if I had wanted to pick it up sooner because I was going to be out of town?
If my doctor's office calls it in, it seems to me that the Doctor is ordering the Pharmacy to fill it at that time. Shopko is not my health care provider and has no right to decide when a prescription should or should not be filled. I'm done with Shopko Pharmacy!
