Incorrect handling of return complaint

Hello. My name is Zerrick Teague and I reside in Panama City Beach, Florida. I shop at The Local Super Walmart Store
here in Panama City Beach, Florida. As of 5:00pm Today Jan. 05 Wednesday I returned a Samsung lcd tv price $348.00
the t.V. Was bought during the christmas
promotion time and I ws given A FREE $50.00 Walmart Gift Card After my purchase. Well the lcd tv turned out to be defective and I went to walmart customer service to return and exchange the tv for the same unit. Apparently this walmart was out of stock on this particular tv and so were the the other two walmarts in my shopping area. (calloway florida super walmart and lynn haven super walmart.

So Before i could figure out my alternative options I was given a Full Refund for my purchase minus $50.00 that was deducted from my intial purchase. (in other words the walmart customer service rep. Said because i got a free $50.00 card for buying this tv that upon return of this tv the $50.00 gift card amount had to be deducted as well.

Well needless to say that did not work for me so i told the customer service rep to forget the refund transaction i would just keep the tv even though it was defective since i was not being allowd a even exchange or the option to but another tv and pay the difference. Well about this time 2 other customer service reps have now joined in on this particular transaction and finally two female managers. So now i have 5 female walmart employees trying to solve a problem that could have easily been settled had i had options available to me. (like cancelling the return transaction, or exchanging for a same like priced tv or paying the difference for a better unit.

All in all I left walmart feeling disgruntled, disgusted and made to feel like i am stupid and dumb... I bought over a $1000.00 dollars worht of electronic merchandise over the christmas promotion time at walmart, and i am so angry i am tempted to take it all back... (ex. Red nintendo wii, Xbox 360 gaming system etc. Etc.)

I feel like i got robbed because walmart gave me no options to feel like i am being treated fairly as a customer and truth be told all i wanted was the same tv i purchased... I bought another tv and i paid $75.00 more for the same price as the tv i started out with. I believe walmart customer service rep had no right to deduct $50.00 from my original transaction because the tv i bought was defective and all three walmart super centers were out of stock on this tv...

I am angry and disgusted and I am writing this letter to anyone who will listen, including the local better busness and the corporate walmart complaint dept.
