Direct tv is terrible

Direct TV is HORRIBLE. Their customer service is even worse (if possible). They have been disgusting since the beginning — WHen the techs arrived at my house to install the satellite dish, they went into the backyard, and left the gate wide open when they left (i told them specifically that I had dogs and to shut the gate). My dogs got out and wandered into the street — thank G-d I was home!

The DVRs have broken multiple times, erasing everything we recorded and no compensation. The phone tree takes about 45 minutes to get through until you can finally speak to a rude and disrespectful customer service agent. I just got off the phone with a woman named "Denise" and she was so disrespectful I ended the conversation abruptly. I can not WAIT until our contract with this horrible business is up.

I understand things aren't going to be perfect with satellite dishes and DVR. But Direct TV makes NO attempt to fix things quickly and easily, the customer service makes you even more frustrated and if you sign up with direct tv, you are going to regret it.

There are not enough negative things I can say about this business. They do not care about their customers, they make things difficult and expensive, and if you're shopping around for cable options — stay FAR away from direct tv!!!
