I am a recently retired military member, and at every base I have been assigned I have always looked for a Wal-mart to do my shopping. My wife and children are Arkansas' and feel some pride in that Walmart is an Arkansas company. Also, when peopler have bad mouthed the company, I have always defended. After retirement I moved to Tampa, Florida and once again looked for a Walmart in the local area. When I visited several I was shocked. The feel and look all of the stores was dirty, messy, confusing, and run down. I truely felt imbarrased by the way they are maintained. I hope this will not remain this way for much longer. It's been so for at least 7 months. After being a customer for almost 20 years and my wife's expereince of 40 years with the company, we both feel that we may not shop at Walmart as often as we use to or at all.
