On Aug. 29,08 direct tv installed their services lines through our newly installed internet lines. As a result I'm then paying for no internet service. Repeated calls brought empty promises for service. Several hours were spent waiting on phantom direct tv service men to arrive. After three weeks of mental anguish I cancelled services as I felt they had not lived up to their end of the agreement. Direct tv billed my credit card 500.78. I am currently in dispute to try to recover this amount. Unknown at this time who will win. My fear is the Direct tv giant will win the argument. I don't understand how they can continue to get away with such shoddy service and come out on top.
