Wal-Mart
Poor customer service - customer service

My very last visit to Wal-Mart was indeed my "VERY LAST" visit to any Wal-Mart. I have shopped at Wal-Mart for many years and have visited walmart in many different states and even Wal-Mart in Mexico. I have since noticed their customer service dwindling. My last visit was to Wal-Mart store #1090 in Jacksonville Florida. I am an easy person to please, I understand that stores run out of merchandise, I know how difficult it is to keep things in order and super clean all the time, I also understand that sometimes, some people have a hard day and are not so very polite, but it seems that more often then not at this particular wal-mart, the employees are always having a bad day. The last cashier that I encountered was the most rude, bad attitude, nastiest, vile, human being who should never ever have a job working with the public. She did not greet me. O.K. No biggie. I said hello to her... No response. Then I looked down at her name tag. It was turned backwards deliberately so that no one could see her name. At that point I assumed that I was not her first victim. She was throwing my items into the bag, I swear I thought that she was going to break that jar of pickles. When I took my receipt from her so said to me VERY LOUDLY", "you don't have to snatch that out of my hand". Well I certainly did not snatch anything. I am most definitely not that type. At that point I had had enough of her. I have never complained about an employees attitude, I usually just allow those things to roll off my back but this time I just couldn't because this woman was just awful. I asked her what her name was because I couldn't see her name tag. She just gave me a "I want to kill you" look and said nothing. I asked her again, "what's your name", she continued to stare me down and said nothing. I had to consider the people behind me, I did not want to hold them up so I said to her, "that's O.K. I will just ask your manager". If I were the only person at her register I would have stood there and demaned to see a manager. She yelled back at me very loudly "go ahead I don't care." I did talk to her manager and I really do question whether or not he even said anything to her because he did not even try to find out who my complaint was about. I only know that I will not be treated that way by them again. After all, I give them my money, they don't give me theirs. As I said before I am a very easy going person who usually allows this type of thing roll right off my back but I woke up the next morning with it still on my mind, therefore, I had to do something and not just leave it alone. Now I choose to drive the extra mile to Target and spend that 10 cents more. That little bit of saving that I got at wal-mart is not worth the aggravation.
