2006 Ford F-250 total loss offer was $6,000 below replacement

I had a total loss on my 2006 Ford F-250 pickup truck. They offered me $6,000 less than the cost to replace it, and less than a third of the cost to replace my heavy-duty bumpers, toolbox and lumber rack. They used one comparable vehicle located over 200 miles from where I live, yet they cannot provide any comparables in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have been without a vehicle for nearly a month, and protesting this will take another three to four weeks.

I am a reasonable person, but they are absurd and will not reason with the facts.
