CitiMortgage is a company that should pay for what it has done! They are the worst mortgage company out there! My wife and I have had problems from day one. We got our mortgage, and after the first month of living in our house they had us in foreclosure. We did not know this until just a week ago, when we were trying to get away from them. Then, about six or so months into owning the house, we got a letter stating that they had not received any of our payments for six months and we were going to lose our house. We had to come up with eleven thousand dollars in a week to save it.
We told them we had proof from the bank that the checks we sent them had been cashed and the money was no longer in our account. They said it was too late for that, that a week is all we had, and to start packing! This was in the first year. And this happens every year around the same time, for three years!
With every complaint on this page, why are they still around? And guess what, we are going through this right now! They have hurt my wife's credit and mine so badly that we can't even try to get another mortgage elsewhere.
Can anyone help us find a different company? Is anything being done about this, any type of lawsuit? Oh yeah, good luck trying to talk to the same person twice. I have called one of who knows how many offices, and nobody knows anyone. What type of company is this? You should know somebody in the office where you work, or at the least have a company directory. If there are any lawyers looking to take on a case, please try to get in touch.
