I used Allstate Insurance for 3 years, and they charged me double without full coverage when they increased my rates. I shopped around and found an insurer that would give me full coverage for less than half of what I was paying Allstate. I feel terrible about all the money I paid them all this time, and Allstate did not care after I informed them that I had found something better, even though their commercials say you can save so much by staying with Allstate. That is simply not true. I wish I could get my money back, but I am making my complaint online here to say stay away from Allstate.
Allstate also has the worst claims policy. If you wreck your car or someone hits it, Allstate will cheat you anyway by giving you less than the amount expected so they can profit as much as they can. They also spend an extra amount of dollars lobbying on each state's regulation and in Congress to benefit and push for laws that favor them, and they will lobby and oppose any law that threatens them. Stay away from Allstate Insurance.
