I, too, was ripped off by this company in 2001 in the same way; phony fees, unnecessary insurance. I saw an attorney who successfully got my house back $36,000 in personal damages. See the Class Action lawsuit against them on internet and get an attorney. They settled very quickly. They know what they are doing.
