Paid $1,295.00 for Metal Detector, Return Refused, No Refund

I sent money to AliExpress for what was shown in pictures as a Minelab GPX4500 metal detector. It turns out that this GPX4500 is made in China as a CPX4500. I cancelled the order two days after I placed it. They said it was sent, and 17 days later, on the 18th of September, the post office called to say that it was there.

I sent it back without opening it, hoping that I would be refunded, only to get a note that the company does not accept refunds. AliExpress said they would not release funds until I was satisfied. My 1,295.00 is gone, and I am left with nothing. Funds were paid with a Cap Direct M/C.
