I called the police to my home last night with regard to trespass and harassment by an employee of Weed Man. He was soliciting without a permit and refused to leave my premises after being asked many times. He said I do not intimidate him, and he simply would not leave. He also tried to claim I assaulted him. Thankfully, I had witnesses to verify I did not lay a hand on him. In addition, when my dog was outside, he threatened to take her with him. Who threatens to steal a dog? Who does that?
The police arrived, kept him about 20 minutes, then let him go. I have a call in to the officer to have him at least note that the man is banned from my property and is to be arrested for trespass if he returns.
I called the owner at the company. Lo and behold, he was "not there." But the lady I spoke to was not too concerned about his behavior. I want to put the word out there so that others will beware of opening the door to them.
