I tried to refinance my present mortgage with Midland Mortgage Co. In the 6 months I have had them, they never sent me statements.
Midland told Quicken Loans that I had a principal balance of $282,000. My last mortgage company (First Horizon) sent me their final statement on 5/30/08.
It stated that my principal balance at that time (6 months ago) was $280,838.15. It would seem to me that after paying Midland for 6 months, it should be less than $280,000 and not $2,000 more.
It's impossible to reach them by phone, and I can't find an email address for them.
